Meet Dr Mehrdad Bordbar: Lead private gp and cqc registered manager

I am Dr Mehrdad Bordbar, a GMC-registered Physician and the CQC Registered Manager of Olivine Clinic. As the Registered Manager, I hold direct legal responsibility for ensuring our practice meets the rigorous fundamental standards of quality and safety set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

With over twelve years of clinical experience, I provide bespoke private general practice and Medical Acupuncture to families across West Dorset, including Dorchester, Bridport, and Weymouth. My practice is built on Integrative Medicine, combining evidence-based modern healthcare with holistic clinical techniques to address the root causes of illness.

Professional Standards & Clinical Governance

Quality of care and patient safety are at the heart of my practice. I maintain full professional membership with the Independent Doctors Federation (IDrF), through which I undergo my annual Medical Appraisal and Revalidation. This ensures my clinical skills and knowledge remain at the forefront of UK medical standards.

I am also an active member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). This dual expertise allows me to offer a unique, regulated, and compassionate approach to healthcare; whether you require a same-day GP appointment or long-term support for a chronic condition.
